Elsa Hosk – Basketball
Elsa Hosk pursued her passions for basketball and modeling at the same time. She started modeling in high school and, after graduating, joined the Swedish women’s basketball league while continuing to model on the side. After two years, she decided to pursue modeling full-time and relocated to New York. Despite saying goodbye to the court, Hosk told Fashionista that the hard basketball training helped her prepare for the physical rigors of the modeling industry. Hosk has worked for big fashion houses such as Dior, Guess, and Dolce & Gabbana. She was also a Victoria’s Secret Angel for eight years, appearing in the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show.
