At the beginning, each Roloff family member got to star in the show. Unfortunately, things had to change when Jacob, the youngest child, took a stand. He did not feel compelled to participate in the show any longer. According to him, he did not like the idea that he was portrayed not as a person but as a character. He said, “The family that is filmed is not my family. They are the Roloff characters and I have scarcely anything in common with them, nor do I want to be a character myself.”

The Fans Meet Tori
Fans adored Zach, who was a sweet and shy person. Many started to wonder when he would start to date. Viewers got their wish in 2010, which was the time Tori started to work at the farm on a part-time basis. Like him, she was shy as well. However, the two were attracted to each right away. Everyone watched in satisfaction when Zach finally asked her out after knowing each other for four months.
