Spinoff
The show enjoyed such positive reception that the producers at the TLC network proposed a spinoff. It was called Little People, Big World: Wedding Farm and made its debut in 2012. The show followed Matthew and Amy as they entered the wedding planning field, though the show remained focus on their family dynamics as well.

Sadly, the spinoff failed to achieve what Little People, Big World did. This was a difficult feat since the original show had millions of viewers. They had to cancel the new show after its first season. It showed Molly getting ready to go to college as well as the silver wedding anniversary of the family patriarch and matriarch. Fans were relieved to hear that the original show was renewed.
