Gates Mcfadden
Cheryl Gates McFadden is a talented dancer, actress, and puppeteer. Aside from the show, she also worked on Labyrinth and The Muppets Take Manhattan. She put her dancing skills to put use by playing the “dancing doctor” on Star Trek: The Next Generation. In the past, she has taught theater at Purdue, Harvard, and the University of Southern California.

Linda Park as Hoshi Sato
In the show, Hoshi Sato was a linguist and communications officer on the Enterprise NX-01. She was eventually kicked off the Starfleet but brought back since they needed her expertise too much. She did not get a lot of screen time, but the viewers loved the character for both her skill and sexiness.
