There seems to be a connection between the show and ballet! Linda Park is yet another ballet dancer who joined the cast of the show. Born in Seoul, her family eventually moved to San Jose, California. She earned her degree from Boston University and then landed a role in Jurassic Park III. She does not just speak fluent Korean and English but also some French!

Kate Mulgrew as Kathryn Janeway
The producers wanted Genevieve Bujold to play Kathryn Janeway, but they ended up giving it to Kate Mulgrew instead. This worked out for the best in the end! Her character was the officer of the Starfleet in Star Trek: Voyager. She said, “There are three things to remember about being a starship captain: keep your shirt tucked in, go down with the ship, and never abandon a member of your crew.”
