The forensic team did not have it easy because the skull broke from the pressure brought by the sediment when they excavated it. Luckily, it was possible to reconstruct all 96 pieces of the skull with the help of modern technology. Using photogrammetry, they managed to reconfigure it! This image was made by the Brazilian Team of Forensic Anthropology and Forensic Odontology.
