Marcus Agrippa
Marcus Agrippa was a Roman statesman, general, architect, and consul who was born in 63 BC and died in 12 BC. He was the right-hand man and best friend of Emperor Augustus as well as the son-in-law of Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus. You will probably see the buildings he designed if you ever come to Rome. On top of that, he brought the empire victory during the Battle of Actium.
What Marcus Agrippa Really Looked Like
He died in Campania at the age of 51. Augustus honored him by holding a large mourning and funeral period that lasted more than a month. He also took care of his kids and took care of their education. Before his death, he already built a tomb for this eventually. They never used it since his remains went to the mausoleum of Augustus himself! This was what artists believe he looked like back in the day.
