Passing through the lobby, I caught Lisa scolding the receptionist, her voice cutting sharply through the air. “We can’t have these kinds of mistakes!” she snapped, leaving the receptionist visibly shrinking with embarrassment as nearby guests shifted uncomfortably. Such public reprimands did nothing to foster a welcoming atmosphere; instead, they served as yet more proof of how Lisa’s harsh management style was undermining the hotel’s reputation for hospitality.
