The girls began to come up with ideas as to the appearance of the house. Their worry increased as they thought more about it. They were thinking how a person who was nearly a century old could maintain a house in its livable state. Seven decades is no joke and majority of the people tend to make do with refuse. Their minds were fixed to see a house that would need an overhaul and not just minor fixing or redecorating. This also meant that a huge amount of money and energy would be spent. However, this idea would be proven wrong when they got to the property.

The sisters were faced with a new hindrance. It looked like Joyce wanted to take back her decision to sell her house. The difficulty of that thought started to grow more evident. But, who wouldn’t feel that way if you were in Joyce’s shoes? Giving up a home that has seen memories of three quarters of a century could only be one of the hardest things to think of, let alone seeing it becoming a home of new residents. For us, it is easy to comprehend. No person would ever want to sell the home they had lived in for nearly all their lives.
