Hand Grenade
While cleaning out their grandma’s garage, a mom and son found an unexploded hand grenade. The Australian military had to be called in to remove the grenade safely. Later, they found out that the bomb had no fuse, and that the explosives had been removed a long time ago. All the same, it gave the mom and son a good scare when they found it.
It Still Had Its Pin
The house was owned by a 91-year-old woman whose now-deceased husband was a WWII soldier. When it was found, the grenade still had its pin attached, and the whole area was cordoned off and evacuated by the police while it was being examined.
