Queen Elizabeth I
Queen Elizabeth I was the ruler of England and Ireland from 1558 to 1603. She was the daughter of King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. The marriage was annulled upon the death of her mother, so she was an illegitimate child. She was only able to ascend the throne in 1558. There are numerous paintings of her, but a mixed media artist Mat Collishaw wanted to find out the truth in 2018.

What Queen Elizabeth I Really Looked Like
He created a hyper realistic animatronic mask that had eyes that follow you around and a mouth that moves as if it speaks. There mask is attached to a mirror. It is now displayed at the Queen’s House, right across the Armada Portrait, which depicts a young Elizabeth even though she was 55 years old when it was made! Some people will tell you that she looks a lot like the portraits depicted her.
